Saturday, August 11, 2007 - Hmmm. After decanting this threw a massive nose of green olives followed by green bell pepper on the palate--not prefered characterisitics. This was backed up with a dense, tannic beast that obviously has legs to go the distance. Several hours later, the wine has settled and while the olive and green pepper flavors are stil there, the wine is smoother and moer enjoyable. A future increase in scoring will be based on the result of the green streak fading. Will the fruit last?
