I've recently been disappointed with a few bottles of Pinot from good wineries that did NOT hold up, so I was anticipating another disappointment. Fortunately that was not the case. A solid nose, just enough fruit, and a great balance. We should begin to expect more solid holding times from our wineries. At six years we should expect a wine like this to be solid with even a few more years to go. But those days may be a thing of the past I'm afraid.
