Tuesday, January 17, 2023 - This is just something completely different from the light and easy to like barberas I’ve had before.
The perfumed nose is just majestic with notes of dark cherries, tobacco, some anise. Still bright acidity 11 years in, though well balanced. Med+ body of ripe fruit, towards dark fruit and prunes.
Mature fine tannins.
Should have had this with duck, just gorgeous.
