Tuesday, February 6, 2024 - Pale orange pink salmon color. An interesting mix of lactic creaminess, earth and strawberry and blood orange fruit. It didn’t pair as well as hoped with a pork tenderloin in pomegranate cream sauce mostly because the pomegranate was a bit harsh but the cream side went well. I suspect this is really a creamy butter chicken or salmon pairing. This would also go well with a cream heavy cheese course - Délice de Bourgogne for example. Lovely wine and really unusual style. This bottle says drink soon - this year or next.
