Sunday, July 26, 2020 - Ripe pear, green apple and some typical "petrol" in the nose.
A fresh and sweet start on the palate with a high acidity.
Aroma's of pear, ripe pineapple, honey and citrus.
Finish of 9 caudalie.

This is a very pleasant wine. The residual sugar is easily noticeable, but the high acidity makes it nicely balanced.
This is no ordinary plumb sweet wine as many other Rieslings you can find around the Mosel for example.

11/28/2023 2:26:00 AM - What is a "plumb sweet wine"?
Asked Chat GPT and it answered: ”Plum sweet wine is a type of wine made from fermented plums that has a sweet taste. It is also called plum wine or plum sake. Plum wine is popular in Japan, where it is called "umeshu," and is made by steeping fresh Japanese plums in alcohol with sugar for several months. While traditionally served as an aperitif or digestif, plum sweet wine can also be used as a mixer in cocktails or as an ingredient in marinades and sauces.”

…but, surely, you must be referring to something different…

Don't know the English word for it, but it stands for very heavy and and a little bit dull.

    11/28/2023 9:16:00 AM - Ah! :-) What a wonderful and useful word!
I wish I knew more languages.
I think the English equivalent word could be "Clunky".

    Diving in to the linguistics:
Plumb in English is "Lood" in Dutch and "Lod" in Swedish.
Plump in English is "mollig" in Dutch (=“knubbig” in Swedish.)
In Swedish the word Plump means a wide range of things:
    - Terribly poor test result
    - Oanständig (indecent)
    - Cynisk (cynical)
    - Taktlös (without tact)
    - Grov (coarse)
    ….and it’s also a card game…

Plump is a Swedish card game where players try to accurately predict the number of tricks they will win in each round. Players score points by meeting their predictions and avoid getting a "plump" for incorrect guesses. The game progresses through increasing numbers of cards per round, challenging players' strategic thinking and bluffing skills.
