Monday, June 21, 2010 - Popped and poured through a vinturri into the glasss. Nice nose with red fruit, primarily strawberry, with some black pepper and a hint of vanilla. Palate reveals less fruit than the nose suggests, and it kind of tight.. red fruit, little papper, a bit tannic on the finish, but not giving much. Opened up more towards the end of the bottle. Advise an hour decant at least, but don't think this is the greatest QPR..
