Saturday, February 23, 2013 - This bottle was in great shape. Cork was extremely tight & no seepage. Color was crimson with a bit of bricking. Upon opening it was tight / tannic. After about 10-15 minutes the tannins moderated and on the palate we got mild red fruit, excellent balance of acid and tannins. Not a big nose. This is as good as I've ever experienced in a late 1970's wine. Well bought at a Zachys auction last year.
