Thursday, May 13, 2021 - Napa 2021 Trip; 5/10/2021-5/13/2021 (Napa Valley, CA): Still a bit coiled up for a 2016 merlot. Chewy tannins and a dry finish. Definitely got some green notes. I could see bumping this up a few points after another 2-3 years.

5/17/2021 8:08:00 PM - I've been really enjoying a lot of '13 and '14 merlot lately, they seem to be hitting their stride with a good decant. Seems many '16s still need time.
