Saturday, November 13, 2021 - On the nose- Big dark fruits, red fruits, dark plums, cassis, stewed cherries, dark preserves, violets, dark chocolate, clove, baking spices, nutmeg, oak, vanilla, bay leaf, forest floor, cigar box, fresh tobacco leaf

On the palate- Big dark fruits and red fruits, dark plums and cassis, stewed cherries and dark preserves, violets and dark chocolate, clove and baking spices, nutmeg and oak, vanilla and bay leaf, forest floor and cigar box and a hint of tobacco leaf. This wine is drinking KILLER now with 5+ years of bottle age but still needs about an hour or more of decant time to really open up and show its stuff. I see this aging for another 10 years easy with no problems at all
