Tuesday, April 9, 2013 - Happy to report that I popped a half bottle tonight and the wine is not over the hill - showing quite mature with lots of tertiary notes though. This has a strong truffle nose - last time I smelled something similar was a 1964 Barolo, so a great start here. Fresh palate showing more mushrooms, beef juice and plums. Nice smooth finish. Definitely got a bargain here from Last bottle - wish I bought more. Drink now. 90+
