Tuesday, December 9, 2014 - Decanted a couple of hours in hopes the barrel treatment would dissipate. The dark fruit did come through, but the wood remained significant. Acidity also came on strong on the finish and the tannins were too mild to balance. Decent but definitely a "food" wine.
