Thursday, August 19, 2010 - Briefly decanted. Low neck fill and good intact cork. Deep red only semi translucent colour but white meniscus. Nose is earth and minerals but with elegant light blackcurrant and redcurrant. Palate is light elegant freshly acidic but with great fruity ripeness and still some grip despite the tannins having fully resolved. Some length but lacking resonance. Very feminine and a welcome counterpoint to the brawny Australian wines it followed.
