Tuesday, September 26, 2023 - oak juice swill pure and simple. represents everything that is wrong with California cabernets. so much new oak here that it's anybody's guess what the underlying grape varietal is. the owners of this winery should be banned from making wine in the united states. undrinkable. sadly, the American consumer has no clue and has come to know these wines as being of high quality. nothing and i mean nothing could be further from the truth. if you have no idea what i am talking about then you have to ask someone to teach you about new oak and winemaking. it will be a revelation.
