Sunday, May 26, 2019 - This is quite an interesting zinfandel. Not hot or or a fruit bomb. It's layered and tasty with some nice terroir showing through. Light clove and pepper to accompany the blackberry. I got a little black plum flavor too. Good balance with nice acidity.
We enjoyed this bottle with hard cheeses and some roasted nuts. I think it will benefit from more time in the cellar. Going to try another this fall with a buddy who loves mountain zins. I'll post an updated tasting note then.
