Wednesday, January 24, 2024 - Decanted for 2 hours but still somewhat closed. Restrained nose but red fruit and a bit of pepper on the palate. Sandalwood finish with soft velvety mouth filling tannins.

After a night in the wine squirrel: much more open. Nose still not giant but palate huge — more red fruit more vanilla.

Overall a great wine but not sure I’d buy again for the price.
