Friday, May 18, 2018 - Given about an hour to breathe, and consumed with venison steak, this pomerol was "right down the middle". Many of the classic Right Bank merlot characteristics, in perfect balance. On the other hand, not so much in the way of fireworks, or power, or complexity. And also rather advanced as an 18-year-old adolescent. Nonetheless, quite pleasant to drink, and especially so for the modest tariff.
