Faint aromatic notes of lavender, smoke, black currants, and salted meats. On the attack this has surprising vigor for its age with pepper, smoked meats, and ripe black fruits, before promptly passing into the finish with a chalky mineral finish. The length is short-lived.

This feels as though it has celebrated it's retirement party. While it has a few years remaining, this is probably best consumed through 2023.
