The first glass focused on the dark fruits and RRV cola that were also evident on the nose. The second glass was best as the wine blossomed to show bright red fruits, along with some spice, minerality and herbal notes. All of this in a medium to plus bodied, acidity balanced, only a touch of tannin on the smooth finish, wine. So, open your bottle 15-20 minutes before enjoying, or give it a splash decant, and you will be pleased with the result -- now, and for at least a couple of years to come.
