Friday, April 26, 2024 - Cellared since release, decanted for 2hrs...my first time tasting a TTT. INKY and extracted blackberry and pomegranate syrup color...nose kind of shy at first, then explodes with white pepper dusted fresh crushed wild berries...kirsch liqueur, candied dry fruits, molasses chews, deep wood smoke, violet florals...WOW!! Fascinating on the palate as it's totally savory and not sweet at all! Expecting this huge extracted sweet juice like all SQN wines...and it's totally dry and void of sugar? Like when you baked choc chip cookies and you forgot to put in the sugar! VERY intriguing...and it grows on you. In the mouth, everything on the nose, dialed to 11...really velvety smooth like a Petite Sirah...16.4 abv impeccably balanced...really dig the graphite dryness and insane uniqueness in this wine! Cool stuff!
