96 Points

Monday, May 22, 2023 - 6 months since my last review....prep time very similar. Posting these notes so that if you have them, you'll know how to get the most out of them!

Popped the cork the night before, poured off a small glass to get some air space in the bottle down to mid shoulder, left the cork out for 1-2 hours. Enjoyed that small glass, again noting very blackish fruit, but excellent overall, probably a 94. Put the cork back in half way and left at room temp for the next night.

Visited friends and removed the cork for about a 30 min slow ox at their place. Started drinking after that and enjoyed for another 3-4 hours. It needed that first hour to fully deal with the air and come together. It's both decadent and extremely well balanced. At that point this is an absolutely beautiful bottle once again, an easy 96.
