Saturday, September 18, 2021 - Shane's 6th Annual Game Dinner - Game & Truffle (Chateau Lea, New Jersey): Shared among the group at the 6th Annual Game Dinner upon arrival. It was a light yellow color with a very fragrant, floral aroma reminiscent to me of my grandmother’s soap when I was young. The palate was very different however. There is extremely bright acidity that presents as a slight effervescence. The flavor profile is distinctly stone fruited, mostly peach and a little dried apricot. Finish is long and so interesting texturally. Rich but dry. Oily but clean… Bright and energetic overall.

P.S. 10 days later kept in the fridge this remained a wonderful wine. It was still Bright and fruity, slightly less aromatic but it seemed more intensely flavored. It was great with a Jamaican Jerk spice rubbed roast chicken.
