Wednesday, May 22, 2019 - A Riesling coming from red volcanic soils (the only non-slate vineyard at the estate). Intense nose of peach, honey, pineapple gummy bears, bit of green spices and florals. The sugar is very well-integrated with the high acidity and flows in this manner all the way into the long finish. A very complex and powerful wine. Could use a bit more grip, but nonetheless this has pretty solid aging potential.
