Friday, July 28, 2023 - A little more than a year later than the last bottle, my feelings are about the same. This too was a pop n pour using a Venturi style aerator to dispense. However a found a little more complexity with hints of cherry wood smoke, black currant and mild herbs. The tannins were still tight, but loosened-up as the meal progressed. This has the potential to keep on aging, but not much longer than recommended. For the complete experience, I would advise to decant this wine first for about an hour or more, and then enjoy with a meal. Paired with pork tenderloin and cheesy gnocchi.
