Friday, April 26, 2024 - Fierce acidity, nice combination of oxidative and fleeting reduction notes. Nose has nice balance of tart and stalky elements. Palate is driven overwhelmingly by tart green apple, obliterating what promises to be more intriguing tastes underneath. Maybe a few years would mellow this out — Gigou wines can have a preternatural durability. For now:
