Saturday, May 2, 2020 - again totally different wine than venerables 2015...
at first slightly medium bodied and a bit sourness and strong minerality... but a bit disconnected, short lived hints of pineapple maybe
needs some time on air to open up a little.
after some time everything becomes harmonious ...
medium bodied, rather darkish yellow already, medium to medium + acidity.
with some time on air it becomes more difficult to discern discrete fruits, but some light feeling of honey... honey for me was usually only associated with montrachets.
I still think that les venerables is one of the bargain chablis... should be nice with some more ageing.
Time to test the 2017
