Sunday, September 13, 2020 - Probably the best Caldwell I have had and I have had all of the Golds made.

It shows the greatness of the 2016 vintage very well. Great fruit, balance, acidity, supple tannins and Coombsville terroir. Just a joy to drink. I could rate it higher but I want to wait a few years.

Just had a 2016 VHR and this is tight in there.
