Sunday, July 19, 2009 - beautiful nose of dark fruit. palate was monolithic as others have stated. dark fruit with very drying tannins. muscular style, almost but not quite to a fault. would be a good pair to a thick steak, but on its own it falters. nice, but probably wouldn't buy again at the price i paid.
