Friday, February 2, 2007 - Just arrived today and poured without decanting, as I was at lunch at my wine locker with a buddy and had no time. I will post additional notes on the same bottle, as there is well over half left.

Very dark purple, bordering black, with a slightly closed nose of cocoa, earth, and black fruits. Very concentrated in the mouth with the nose following through on the palate. The finish was nice, but this wine needs so air to really assess its potential, but I can tell it will be another nice bottle from Neal. I just need to gauge where it stands relative to the 2002, which is one of my favorite $40 Cabs.
