Sunday, October 8, 2023 - Vinetasters: Young Northern Rhône (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. Darker nose, with a hint of coffee and a slight bit of green astringency. Also a strange candied berries note here as well. On the palate, this gets quite weedy and green, and there's almost too much acidity here. Comes across slightly unbalanced to me. Makes me think this is something like a petite syrah or zinfandel. My 10th, group's 7th.
