Sunday, July 16, 2023 - Expressive and refined nose with white blossom, a citrus twist, gooseberry, just-ripe passionfruit, wet rocks and a whiff of struck match. Zippy acidity on the crisp, light to medium bodied palate with lovely texture and a long finish. Drink over the next few years. All the elements of a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc but in a more elegant, well mannered style.

WSET notes:

Pale lemon.

Pronounced on the nose with blossom, lemon, grapefruit, green apple, gooseberry, asparagus, passionfruit, hay, flint, wet stones, and struck match. Developing.

Pronounced and dry on the palate. Medium minus body, high acidity, medium alcohol, long finish.

Can drink now but has potential for aging.
