Sunday, December 30, 2018 - Very dark amber. Beautiful nose of various dried fruits of all sorts. Incredibly full bodied and viscous. While almost syrupy in texture, the acid is present and the wine in no way seems have or leaden. In addition to the panoply of dried fruits, there is burnt orange peel and a bit of mint! Absolutely delicious with pate and pain grillé but would also be fantastic with sweeter desserts such as creme brûlée. Drink now-2028. 94
