Tuesday, November 6, 2012 - Caves Madeleine, Beaune. Disgorgement 2009. Deep yellow gold, energetic fine bead. Beautiful broad nose full of vitality and density, baked apple and brioche. Palate equally enticing, lovely core and fine beautifully knit finish. A fascinating experience - this was a meal in itself.
