Tuesday, July 7, 2015 - 2006 disgorgement. Still young(ish), some smoke, barest hint of sherry, lots of depth and nuance. I was worried about sitting on one so old but while maybe not as fresh as a newer one it was only different, not worse.
Remains one of my favorite champagnes.

7/7/2015 7:55:00 PM - Thanks for your note and rating. Yes, we agree a touch youngish, but sipping nicely at the moment. Selosse is a rockstar!!! We have visited his restaurant a few times and sipped several differing wines he produces. Every one either better or as good as the last one. Stunning!!! We think Initiale is a winner and far better value than Substance.
