Community Tasting Note

Sunday, November 8, 2015 - Celebrating Doug's Birthday...; 11/8/2015-11/9/2015: Color: Golden yellow
Smell: Baked apples, almond, brown sugar, and mineral notes
Taste: Poached pears, pie crust, quince, and a chalkiness persisting on the finish.
Overall: These wines are special. Complex and more oxidative in style with good acidity, vibrant fruit, and a long finish. Great with sushi. Outstanding!!

11/9/2015 5:20:00 PM - Thanks for your note. We hear ya! Do you also like the Substance? If you have not done so already, you should visit Selosse's property. Lunch in the vineyards is awesome and the selection of bubbles, as you might expect, is dreamy!
