Wednesday, August 2, 2017 - Jon's Birthday 2017 (Kallang Way Extra Space): Pop and poured. Drank over 1 hour.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, gold colour. Legs. Fine bubbles.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of autolytic yeast, yellow flowers, marble cake, wet stones minerality, citrus lemon-lime. Developing.
On the palate, dry, very high zesty acidity, medium- alcohol (12%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of taut wet stone minerality, marble cake, slight caramel, citrus lemon-lime. Very long finish.
Very good quality. Only mildly oxidative it seems to me. Great mouth-feel. Bad QPR though.
This bottle was disgorged 13 December 2013.
