Thursday, June 23, 2022 - No score - First time drinking a white sweet of any kind much less a sauternes. Once or twice I had Port as part of a dinner wine pairing menu, so I have no real context to score.

I liked this though, even though it was quite good on its own, I felt I wouldn't be able to drink too much without food but we had always planned to pair it with a big, luxuriously frosted bundt cake and with the cake the wine performed beautifully. Will need to get more familiar with this style.
