Tuesday, April 23, 2024 - 92++ as is with burgundy they don't necessarily continually improve but along the way they will shut down and then open back up. All four burgundies I tried over these two days had really shut down a good bit. You could certainly tell there was a lot going on but just tannic tight and backwards.
When first opened this had a gorgeous smokey earthy bouquet. Medium dark color. Full bodies and concentrated with some Earth and dark fruits. But really tannic tight and backward. Still very youthful. A big wine. Needs time. I'll check in on it again in a year just because it's the 10-year mark
