Friday, January 1, 2021 - When we first started paying attention to wine 10-12 years ago, this was recognizable as a "good" one to us. Wanted to try again and see how it holds up. It's actually still pretty good. Easy to drink, abundant Lodi fruit (predominately new world/some tropical fruit notes), with oak and drying, integrated tannins to provide balance. The wine isn't sweet. Alcohol is strong, though somewhat masked by the peppery finish. Suggest having this as a 2nd bottle of night or with food.
