Tuesday, September 1, 2015 - Garnet color. Wonderful mix of tobacco leaf, blueberry, and herb. Medium weight. Dry, savory flavors of blue and black fruit and bark. Some welcome austerity and reserve at the back end thanks to excellent acidity and minerality. Very satisfying traditionally made Chateauneuf-neither overripe nor encumbered by wood. Potential to improve for several years, but I liked it right where it was tonight.
