Nice full-bodied wine with fabulously concentrated redberry fruit, lightly dried fruit edge, mint and wet ground. This undergrowth tone is great throughout. Superb spices impresses. Nice acidity and tighter, but typical tannin structure. The wine is probably experienced as being a little grumpy from being disturbed now. Not in phase, but it has a long life to cover. (Approx. 50 years) Brilliant wine with great potential. 96 points. (98p - 100p potential)
