Monday, March 11, 2024 - Red and black fruit with cocoa and pepper spice. The secondary and tertiary aromas have taken over. The fruit is there, but subdued. It’s good, but drink now or soon. I don’t see it getting better.

3/11/2024 7:28:00 PM - Storage? The bottle I drank last year showed no secondary characteristics and while an argument can be made that they won't get any "better", well stored examples of the 2017 should easily drink well past 2035.

4/13/2024 11:21:00 AM - It is very possible storage played a part, as I won this bottle at a charity auction. For whatever reason, the fruit was more subdued in my bottle.
