Saturday, March 8, 2014 - Medium straw yellow with some pink shade, 12% abv. Persistent pearl strings of mm-size bubbles emanating. Medium(-) aromas of red berries, strawberries and some bread notes. Bone dry, high acidity, medium alcohol and body. Medium flavors of lemon zest, strawberries. Delicate mousse is rather frothy when entering the mouth. Good racy finish and lingering autolytic flavors. Excellent value for money ($15 per bottle). Will try out the Gruet range.
