Thursday, October 14, 2004 - Black and red raspberries with suggestions of cocoa and baking spices. Slightly mushroomy. The nose is interesting if not a bit rustic. Pretty approachable on the palate but still too young. Good weight and body. Fine acidity. Good length. Probably not long term. Perfectly fine, but not up to previous standards for this wine. Drink 2004-2007.
