Much less overt blackberry fruit, the wine has taken on a more balanced triage of black olive, charcoal, and a supporting nod of sweet, dark fruit. Perfectly integrated, precise, fresh, and still packs a meaty punch of CA Syrah, all I could have ever hoped for with this purchase. Seems like it wouldn’t have any problems kicking up a good a good time over the next 5 years, maybe a tad more.
