Thursday, January 11, 2024 - From the coravin. Typically expressive pegau nose of spice and red fruit. Young and a bit tight on the palate. raspberries and strawberries with some woody notes. Good balance. Still a tannic beast with a touch of alcoholic heat. I love it but Pegau is always in my wheelhouse. I think this vintage may need a bit more time. This was my first of nine. It’s great but hold.
