Sunday, November 23, 2014 - Made in a more classic style; after thirteen years it definitely is starting to show signs of bricking and the slight orange hue of a maturing Barolo. Big, earthy, and fuller bodied with restrained floral rose notes, expresso, dark dried cherry, asphalt, brambles, and some stoney minerality. Slightly austere, dry, and very structured ending in a long finish. Improved from the bottle enjoyed 4-1/2 years ago.
