Monday, October 9, 2023 - Light red with a faint purple tinge, almost clear at the rim. After PnP, the nose springs forward with cherries and red berries. Also some herbs and perhaps some mushroom overtones. The taste in in line with the nose, and is wonderfully balanced. A nice lingering acidity, some tannins although they have likely faded from peak. There are no secondary flavours coming through, and it is not a complex wine but it is a slight to drink. This is a really delicious bottle of Pinot that I feel is at its peak right now
