Saturday, August 27, 2016 - Brawny nose, showing dill, currants and black fruits. Very young still. The petit Verdot aroma goes a long way and at 10% of the blend can almost can be mistaken for VA. Fairly tannic palate, showing medium grained tannins and appears youthful and in need of time. Good wine but I don't think this is a classic vintage for Ridge. Check back in 10 years.
