Thursday, April 11, 2024 - Popped and poured. A bit austere and closed on the nose even after rigorous swirling. Similiarly the palate seems reserved, structured with some lingering unresolved tannin. There is ripe black cherry, raspberry, herbs and iron coming through. Terrific concentration and length. This is one for the ages but I would let it develop in the cellar a bit longer. The score is a guess. This could be better.
