Sunday, April 26, 2020 - From 50-100 year old vine, 50% whole-clustered. 2017 seems to be a tipping point vintage for the domaine as the wine is more user-friendly at its youth compared to the more extracted style.

Cassis, cherry, blueberries, mineral, tea and mocha. Palate had crunchy black fruit with excellent density. This stylistic fine-tuning under Loic’s hand is encouraging. As a die-hard fan of the domaine’s wine, I enjoy both the old and new style. For tasters who has dropped the domaine’s name off the radar, 2017 is a vintage that you should not miss. 91-92
